The next day will be spent touring Kathmandu’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square, providing insights into the city’s rich architectural and cultural heritage.
From Kathmandu, you’ll travel to Pokhara, where a guided tour awaits. Start the day with a morning drive to Sarangkot for a stunning sunrise view over the Himalayas, followed by visits to Bindabasini Temple, Mahendra Cave, Devi’s Fall, and a boat ride on Phewa Lake.

Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport, you will be greeted by our office representative, who will be easily identifiable by the “Nepal Hiking Team” placard he carries. He will assist you with your transfer to the hotel in a private vehicle. After checking in and freshening up at your hotel, we will hold a brief orientation session to go over the details of your tour. The rest of the day is free for you to explore and enjoy at your leisure.
We will embark on a tour of Kathmandu’s rich cultural heritage sites, starting at around 10 in the morning and concluding around 4 in the afternoon. The day’s itinerary includes visits to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath Stupa, Bouddhanath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple. Each of these locations showcases stunning ancient artworks created by our forefathers.
Today, we’ll begin our drive to Pokhara. We’ll start early in the morning with a hearty breakfast before setting off. The journey takes approximately 5-6 hours, depending on traffic conditions. Upon arrival in Pokhara, we’ll check into our hotel for an overnight stay.
Early in the morning, we will prepare to drive to Sarangkot. There, we’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the Annapurna range, along with stunning sunrise vistas. After enjoying the panoramic scenery, we’ll return to Lakeside Pokhara. The day continues with sightseeing tours of Bindabasini Temple, Mahendra Cave, Devi’s Falls, and a visit to Phewa Lake.
We will drive to Lumbini, a journey that takes approximately 5 hours. Once there, you’ll explore the various sanctuaries and monasteries established by neighboring Buddhist countries. Highlights include visiting the Maya Devi Temple, the Ashoka Pillar, and the site where Gautam Buddha was born and raised. We will spend the night at a hotel in Lumbini.
We will depart from Lumbini and drive to Chitwan, which takes approximately 3-4 hours. Upon arrival, you’ll check into the resort and then embark on an exciting canoeing and jeep safari adventure in the jungle. During the tour, you may spot various wildlife such as deer, elephants, wild buffaloes, crocodiles, one-horned rhinoceroses, and with some luck, even a royal Bengal tiger.
We will wake up early for a bird-watching excursion in the jungle, where you’ll have the opportunity to see a variety of bird species as well as other beautiful wildlife. After the tour, we’ll drive back to Kathmandu. In the evening, we’ll enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant.
